    This plugin gives you the ability to set custom ‘description’ and ‘keywords’ meta tags in the ‘head’ area of your site. The plugin is helpful because it gives the site admin the ability to set keywords and description for every page on every blog (site wide) and then it allows each individual blog admin to set their own description and keywords. The plugin then combines them into one before inserting the result into the head of your website. This is my first plugin for WPMU. Please let me know if you find anything that I should be doing differently. To adjust the site wide keywords and description, sign in as a site administrator and go to the settings tab in the admin area. To adjust the keywords and description for a single blog, log in as a single blog admin (without site admin privileges) and navigate to the settings tab in the backend.     reCAPTCHA is an anti-spam method originating from Carnegie Mellon University which uses CAPTCHAs in a genius way. Instead of randomly generating useless characters which users grow tired of continuosly typing in, risking the possibility that spammers will eventually write sophisticated spam bots which use OCR libraries to read the characters, reCAPTCHA uses a different approach. While the world is in the process of digitizing books, sometimes certain words cannot be read. reCAPTCHA uses a combination of these words, further distorts them, and then constructs a CAPTCHA image. After a ceratin percentage of users solve the ‘uknown’ word the same way it is assumed that it is the correct spelling of the word. This helps digitize books, giving users a reason to solve reCAPTCHA forms. Because the industry level scanners and OCR software which are used to digitize the books can’t read the words with which the CAPTCHAs are constructed, it is safe to assume that in-house spam-bot OCR techniques will not be able to bypass the CAPTCHA either. reCAPTCHA has earned a very prestigious reputation among the various CAPTCHA systems available and is used by such sites as Facebook, Twitter, StumbleUpon, and a few U.S. Government Websites such as the TV Converter Box Coupon Program Website. TO INSTALL AS FORCED ACTIVATED/SITEWIDE: First, upload the wp-recaptcha folder to your mu-plugins folder then move the wp-recaptcha.php file out of the wp-recaptcha folder so that it’s directly at mu-plugins/wp-recaptcha.php.     MuTags  
    Another site wide tags solution for WordPressMU. Everytime someone posts, updates or deletes a blog post, the MuTags (wp_global_tags) table is updated with the correct information. This plugin then retrieves data from the MuTags table to create a tag cloud and display results for each tag. This plugin also includes an importer to import existing WordPress tags and optionally categories into the MuTags table. Read the readme for installation and upgrading. Notice: I recommend that version 0.3 is only used for testing, because a great amount of people have suffered of different problems with it. Sorry…

This plugin can work just the same on a regular WordPress install in the plugins directory. Please note that this plugin uses the gravatar.com service and not local avatars.     This plugin allows blog user to change their blog URL from existing one (subject to availability). The admin page can be access at Option->Publishing. This plugin simply modify 4 fields, three fields in user blog option table and one in the wp_blog table. When user enter a new blog address, the plugin will check for rule that apply when one sign up for a new blog. So yeah, blog must have at least 4 characters, blog names may not contain the character “_”, etc. Let me know if you have any questions or comments. Here is a screen shot. Note: If you download the earlier version, you will need to change domain URL to your domain manually, or simplify replace it with the current one. Note:If you are using multiple domain, you will need to hack it to make the domain switchable. Right now, it will just use the domain with site_id = 1. Intall: Upload and place it in your mu-plugins folder. That’s it.

    FireStats is a comprehensive statistics package with support for various systems (WordPress, WordPress MU, trac, Drupal, Jumla and more). FireStats installation into WPMU is really simple, and it creates a single set of tables for the entire WPMU site, which are shared by all the blogs. Each user get their own statistics view in the dashboard, and the site administrator gets a complete administrative view, that enable him/her to administer FireStats. Drop this plugin into your mu-plugins folder if you would like to receive an email notification whenever somebody creates a new blog on your WPMU site. Inspired by this hack. But by using my plugin instead of the hack, you don’t have to modify any core files, which makes upgrading easier. Developed on WPMU 1.2.2. Untested in earlier versions. The plugin generate a xml sitemap for every single blog in your WPMU installation. I changed the name of this project because now it supports ping to Yahoo web services, not just the google ones. If you are updating please delete the old ms_googlemap.php file, before to upload the new one, and take a look to the documentation in my blog: you must add a new row in your .htaccess file in your WPMU installation.
