About the Charlotte Eagles
The Charlotte Eagles are a men’s professional soccer franchise that competes in the Second Division of the United Soccer Leagues. The USL Second Division consists of 10 teams across the East Coast and the Caribbean.
Entering their 17th season in the USL, the Eagles are owned and operated by Missionary Athletes International with a vision to do sports ministry through the platform of soccer.
The Charlotte Eagles are a member of the USL Hall of Fame for their history of success on and off the field, and dedication to their community. The Eagles have made the playoffs 14 of the last 16 seasons, making 6 trips to the National Championship and winning two USL-2 National Championships in 2000 and 2005. The team has also featured 2 MVP’s over the years in Jacob Coggins (2004,2005) and Dustin Swinehart (2008).
The Eagles play all home games in South Charlotte at Restart Field at Charlotte Christian School.
