How to set up a Forum on your blog.

1. Log into your blog admin area.
2. Go to Manage > Forums >
3. One forum is allowed per blog. (will be a upgrade shortly)
4. Click on ‘new’ forum. Fill in the field information boxes.
5. Name, Description etc.
6. Save Forum
7. Click on Forums tab, see new Manage Forums table.
8. Copy the Forum Code listed in the box, [xxxxxxx].
9. Go to Write > Page, name the page ‘Forum’ (fill in the title box)
10. Paste Forum Code (it is on your clip board) into the body of the page, you may add text as well. Publish. View page.

We apologize it took so long to get this multi blog application to work correctly. We wanted and needed to go to the lastest version and because Wordpress is open source, it can be problematic at times. Wordpress is a great tool and makes it easy for anyone belonging to a blog community like A2Zhomeschool.com to have a findable website/blog.

You should be able to log into your accounts now. If you still have the original emails, please use the information included to log in. Or http://a2zhomeschool.com/your blog name/wp-admin/ then enter user id or email address used and click on reset password. Follow instructions in the 2 emails.

If you have a problem please email, directly to this email address, your problem.

 This way we know we are starting fresh, with new underlying password encryption.

 We have 94 themes that are widget ready easy to start using. You can add content, set up catagories, manage the basic settings in the admin area of your blog, NOTE plugins management is located under the Manage tab, not next to the site admin tab.

Manage the meta tags

This plugin gives you the ability to set custom ‘description’ and ‘keywords’ meta tags in the ‘head’ area of your site. The plugin is helpful because it gives the site admin the ability to set keywords and description for every page on every blog (site wide) and then it allows each individual blog admin to set their own description and keywords. The plugin then combines them into one before inserting the result into the head of your website. This is my first plugin for WPMU. Please let me know if you find anything that I should be doing differently.

To adjust the site wide keywords and description, sign in as a site administrator and go to the settings tab in the admin area. To adjust the keywords and description for a single blog, log in as a single blog admin (without site admin privileges) and navigate to the settings tab in the backend. Adds three more levels of privacy to the Options–>Privacy page. Drop into mu-plugins.

1. Blog visible to any logged in community member.

2. Blog visible only to registered users of blog.

3. Blog visible only to administrators.

UPDATE 2.0 all options redirect through login.php, securing blog feeds now, too.(site-wide feed???)
