Maryland is working quickly to pass a new law that will raise the compulsory school age to 18. The bill will affect homeschoolers by requiring them to continue to review through their county or umbrella group until their child reaches 18.

In case you haven’t heard, Maryland homeschoolers successfully defeated the 2 homeschool bills that were introduced into the 2012 Maryland General Assembly. The sponsoring delegate withdrew the money-for-testing bill, as well as the homeschool diploma bill.
