Pfc. Bowe R. Bergdahl, a local family’s only son who was homeschooled, danced at the ballet school and rode his bike all over the town of 7,000, was in the hands of the Taliban.

My heart goes out to the family and friends of this homeschooled young man, so close in age to my own.

Let’s pray that peace comes soon, and that all prisoners on both sides may all be returned to their loved ones safely.
