I just read this morning that the US had it’s first death from the swine flu and unfortunately, it was a 23 month old child from Texas. My heart goes out to the family….I just can’t imagine what it would feel like to lose a child. My heart and soul is filled with so much sadness right now. I hope that poor family will find peace some day.
But now that there has been an actual US death from this flu, the reality of it really hit me hard. Although the swine flu has been a media frenzy lately, the reality of how severe it is did not sink into my brain until now. I thought that the US government had the situation under control, but I thought wrong. If they did have it under control, then that poor, little 23 month old child wouldn’t have died. So obviously, the swine flu epidemic is totally out of control and we all need to take caution…….
