Homeschooling From Ann's Perspective

Wilbur Wright Birthplace Homeschool Day

April5

Come and learn about the Wright brothers, aviation history, and life on the farm around the turn of the 20th century!

We wish to reach out to the all Homeschoolers within a 100 mile radius, such as from Indianapolis to Dayton, Ohio. Click on our address below to see where we are and to get directions from your place.

  • When: May 19, 2011
  • Where: Millville, IN
  • Who: Homeschool families of all ages, parents, and grandparents
  • Cost: $2 per person, maximum $10 per family
  • Lunch: Bring a sack lunch – drinks will be provided

The tentative schedule of activities includes historical re-enactors, demonstrations of kitchen skills, weaving and sewing, rope-making, house tour, propeller design, remote-controlled airplanes, old-fashioned games, corn shelling, historical film, a scavenger hunt, and more!

To provide your youngsters with the best experience, we can handle 40-50 guests per 30 minute time slot.  Once filled, that time will no longer be available.  The times you see in the link below are still available. We will be open until 5 p.m. so that all attendees will have time to visit all stations and displays.  We look forward to seeing you May 19!
